Leah Mullen (b.2000) is a composer and performer whose work focuses on intersectional feminist philosophies, diverse storytelling, the wilderness, and interpersonal performer relationships. She is currently based in Bern, Switzerland, where she will begin pursuing a dual MA-PhD at the Hochschule der Künste Bern in autumn 2024, studying with Leo Dick and Simon Steen-Andersen. 

 

Leah holds degrees from the University College Dublin (Master's of Musicology in Music and Culture) and from the Pennsylvania State University (Bachelor's of Music in music composition, minor in German, and Diversity Studies Certificate). At Penn State she studied with Dr. Baljinder Sekhon and Dr. Sarah Genevieve Burghart Rice.
